Some inspiration from Google

At this point in the project you’ve probably met with your team members and deliberated over some ideas. At this point you may also be stuck, trying to figure out what to do with this project. Fear not.

Below are some examples of Google Chrome commercials. They are highlighting the product by telling a heartwarming story through the application features. Plus, they tug on the emotions of the viewer and make everyone watching want to live amongst the Google suite of applications.

Some of you have asked about screen-casting and how it is done. The best, and most cost effective option for the moment is Jing by TechSmith. Jing allows you to take screenshots and record video of what’s happening on your screen with voice over options.  Jing also allows users to edit images that are captured. When you save a Jing file you can import the screencast you made into iMovie. This transitions allows you to edit and add titles, transitions, musics, etc.

Most of the computers have Jing installed in the applications folder. If you do not see this application let me know.

If you are simply looking to make a screencast then you should look into Screenr. Screenr is a web-based application that allows users on Mac and PC to capture video of what is happening on his or her screen. It also allows users to incorporate a voice over.

Remember, these are just options. You are not required to use a screencast, but I wanted to share the options with you.
